Wrapped in mulberry silk, you experience the combination of all the advantages of down and microfibre in a natural way. The Sichou mulberry silk duvet consists of a cover of 100% finest cotton satin and a high-quality filling of hand-drawn mulberry silk fleece.

This silk duvet keeps warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer, making it ideal as a year-round duvet.

Before Use
The SICHOU Tussah Silk Duvets are folded into a bag for transport. This temporarily compresses the silk filling.

Recommendation: Air the duvet outdoors for a few hours so it regains its full fluffiness.

Storage

• Before storing, air the duvet thoroughly and make sure it is completely dry.

• Do not store at high temperatures.

• Do not compress tightly to protect the filling.

Refined Function
Each duvet is equipped with corner ties/loops.

This allows you to:

• Combine a summer duvet with an all-season duvet to create a warm winter duvet.

• Join two summer duvets to make an all-season version.

The combination options are flexible and easy to apply.

Important Notes
Silk is a natural product and sensitive to:

• Heat

• Soaking in water

• Strong sunlight (UV radiation)

• Alkaline substances

Therefore:

• Do not expose to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

• Do not use a tumble dryer.

• Do not use alkaline detergents (they would ruin the fibers).

• Do not subject silk to strong stress when wet (e.g., spinning > 400 rpm).

• After washing, reshape and dry flat in the shade or gentle sunlight.

• Wash separately with plenty of water to avoid friction and felting.

Care Instructions
Since Tussah silk, like wool, belongs to the natural protein fibers, special care is required.

• Washing: Special delicate cycle at max. 30 °C

• Detergent: Only silk or wool detergent, no refatting or alkaline substances

• Spinning: Short spin, max. 2 min at up to 400 rpm

• Drying: Reshape after washing and line dry – no direct sun, no electric dryer

• Ironing: Carefully, not hot, steam only gently

• Bleaching: Not allowed

• Dry cleaning: Not possible
