A conventional heavy-duty detergent can safely be used for white laundry.Washing TemperatureColoured and printed bed linen can be washed at a maximum temperature of 60°C.For the first wash, Schlossberg recommends washing at 60°C. Natural fibres may shrink by approximately 4–6% during this process and will thereby reach their intended final dimensions.For subsequent washes and lightly soiled bed linen, 40°C is generally sufficient. This helps protect both the fabric and the environment.Tip: Place the bed linen loosely into the washing machine. An overloaded drum places unnecessary strain on the fabric and can cause the bedding to become tangled or twisted during washing.Drying Your Bed LinenRemove your bed linen from the washing machine as soon as possible after the cycle has finished and dry it immediately. Leaving damp laundry in the machine for an extended period can lead to unpleasant odours.The gentlest and most environmentally friendly method is air-drying on a clothesline.If you prefer to use a tumble dryer, remove the bed linen while it is still slightly damp shortly before the end of the drying cycle.
